The Executive Steering Group provides independent oversight of AIMD and holds the programme to account. Drawing together senior representatives from across the programme alongside independent expertise, the group sets strategic direction, monitors progress against the programme’s goals, and provides assurance to our funder that the AIMD programme is delivering on its commitments.

Meeting three times a year, the group reviews progress and developments across the wider research landscape, guides the programme’s response, and ensures a supportive environment for early career researchers across all partner institutions. It is chaired by Professor William Drury FREng, an independent consultant with an international reputation in electric drives.
