The Academic Executive Group is where AIMD’s research is steered. Bringing together the investigators leading the work across Nottingham, Bristol and Newcastle, the group holds collective responsibility for the programme’s scientific direction; overseeing progress across all research themes, coordinating the work packages, and allocating effort and resources to wherever they will have the greatest impact.

Meeting monthly, the group keeps AIMD’s highly interconnected research moving as one programme rather than a set of separate projects, sharing findings, resolving challenges, and making the collective decisions that keep the work on track. It is chaired by the Programme Director, Dr Liliana de Lillo.
